Why Don’t You Use Group Study Rooms?
When you should meet your study group members, where do you go? There are many good places that are available at CNU. Above of all, the most well-known place is the library. In the University Library (red), you can find group study rooms, a lounge and a book cafe on the first floor. If you want to use a group study room, make a team consisted of more than four students and reserve the room on the library homepage. It is available up to two hours a day. Especially, in the book cafe, you can become engrossed in studying while listening to music on a soft sofa. In the University Library Annex, you can find seminar rooms and lounges for group study as well on the second floor. You can use seminar rooms after reserving the rooms in advance on the homepage of Library Student Council. Furthermore there are other meeting places called ‘Free Discussion Room’ in the back part of it.
Apart from these places in the libraries, you can also use empty classrooms and Team Learning Rooms in every college building and the University Computing Center. You can make use of the Team Learning Rooms between 9:00~16:00 regardless of your major. You may also study with your group members in the Yongji building by making a reservation on the site of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Additionally the Language Education Center has some optimal places to learn together like Global and English Lounges in the main building of it. The Global Lounge on the second floor of the building is especially for foreigners learning Korean language to exchange their cultures with Korean students. In the English Lounge on the third floor, you can practice speaking English by communicating with others.
