Chonnam National University (CNU) held the 2023 Farewell Party targeted for international students in the Global Research Hub (G&R Hub) on Dec. 22. Arranged by the Office of International Affairs, international students graduating in Feb. of 2024 participated in the Christmas themed Year-end event. Starting from 13:00, students from diverse nations gathered up as a team and wore CNU T-shirts to precede in ice-breaking games. Following the game session, students got to enjoy decorating Christmas items and cookies. Other than entertainment events the CNU International Student Supporters (CIS) also gave information for participants who are going back to their country after the semester ends. Ali Babar (Graduate Student, Dept. History, Pakistan) said, “I learned so many things about Korean society during my time at CNU. This was party amazing because it was the only way to gather up with other students before leaving Korea.”
