The 2023 CNU Tech and Graduate Fair hosted by the CNU Graduate School and the CNU R&BD Foundation began on Nov. 14. This marked the first year that the Tech Fair and the Graduate Fair were held in conjunction. Yoon Ki-bo, head of the R&D Strategy Team, said, “We organized the two events together in hopes that it would help graduate students gain a better perspective of the research process, and that visitors would be able to see our research outcomes at once.” The fair kicked off with an opening event at Yogi Hall, starting off with a performance from students from the Dept. of Music and an official declaration of the opening of the fair. Congratulatory speeches were made, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendee Yeom In-hwa (Senior, Dept. of Pharmacy) said, “I loved how we got to learn about things we don’t touch on in class.” The fair spanned across the technology sector on campus, specifically in Yogi hall, and the College of Engineering Buildings 4 and 7. Exhibits, job counseling, special lectures, tutorials and various hands-on experiences were provided before the closing ceremony on Nov. 14.
