Chonnam National University's 2023 annual festival, "Yongbong Daedongpuri," entitled "The Secret Garden" kicked off on September 20. On the first day of the festival, regardless of the rainy weather, festival visitors celebrated the event passionately, and festival staff carried out their roles with responsibility. After a brief safety education session, band “Dasutt” and singer-songwriter duo “AKMU” performed as guest singers. There were also various food trucks and booths, including beverages, flea markets, and game booths, where visitors enjoyed a wide variety of activities. Jeong Yeon-ji (Freshman, Dept. of Agricultural Biochemistry) said, “It was satisfying to see a celebrity up close. I especially enjoyed AKMU’s part. But I felt it was dangerous because people in the back kept pushing forward. I think we need to enforce more pre-safety training onwards.”
