While reading May Tribune magazine, three articles piqued my interest. The first was the professors at CNU coming together to oppose the way in which the government was going to handle the payment of retribution to Koreans who were forced in the past to undergo forced labor by the Japanese government. The second article was the one on ways in which a stop can be put to school bullying in Korea. The last article on apology and forgiveness. So, what is my (yours too) takeaway from this. We should speak up and also try to stand up for those who need to be stood up. Do not close your eyes to evil because it is not done to you. Do not be a bully. If you have been an abuser in the past, seek out who you have wronged and apologize.
