Chonnam National University (CNU) successfully completed its 2023 International Summer Session. 44 international students had a farewell ceremony at the Cosmos Hall in the College of Engineering 4 building on July 21. The students from different countries, including Greece, Taiwan, and Finland, stayed on campus from June 26 for four weeks. They received college credits while having various cultural experiences. For most weekdays, they took lectures from nine professors from foreign universities and three CNU professors in various fields. They also enjoyed Korean culture on weekends, traveling to the attractions of Gwangju and neighboring cities. Yoon Hyun-shik, Dean for International Affairs, said, “This year’s International Summer Session received so much attention from both students and professors all around the world. It was a chance that CNU realized efforts towards the world.”
