Q: What is your favorite food in Korea?
Back in 2019, I was learning Korean at Kyung Hee University and one day, after school, my friend invited me to a restaurant in Sinchon. When the food came out, I did not know what it was. But eventually I tried it and asked my friends what it was. They told me it was “jjimdak” (braised chicken and vegetables). It was the best food I have ever tried and after I came to Gwangju, I started to eat a lot of jjimdak.

Q: What is your favorite TV program?
I have watched a lot of TV shows over the past two years. My favorite show was “Taste of Wife.” I liked it because it showed how Korean celebrity couples live. It is sad that it came to an end.

Q: Can you tell us about your first Korean friend you made in Korea?
I started learning Korean in Kyung Hee University in 2018. Before the course began, each foreign student was assigned with helpers. They were Korean students whose purpose was to introduce school to us and help us get used to the place. I and my helper eventually became friends, so we ate and went to karaoke together. Also, because she knew how to speak French a little, our conversation was even funnier.
