CNU is set to resume its annual festival fully face-to-face after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The so-called “Yongbong Daedongpuri” festival will take place from September 21 to 22 for two days with the tagline “7 Up!” (Cheer Up!) to encourage students. Kim Hyeon-ji (Senior, Dept. of Industrial Engineering), Planning Director of the Student Council’s Festival Planning Group (FPG), said, "Since early July, we have been organizing the festival by hosting various events steadily once a week. To make a fun and enjoyable festival, we put the most effort into celebrity performances by researching all famous idol schedules in line with the budget. We will install a flea market in Sports Ground 1 with Buk-gu Office. Various booths such as food, outdoor activities, and experience booths will be set up along the roads." The festival’s main venue will be the May 18 Square, in which the main stage will be installed to be used for main events and performances. Besides, the festival includes planned features, including food trucks, a street karaoke, hanging wish lanterns and an escape room game. There will also be photo zones with various styles and booths, some of which include a flea market, counseling, food, and club advertising.
