The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) held the 2017 CNU Student Culture Day on November 17 in front of the Convention Hall on Yongbong campus. The event, as a part of OSA’s efforts to boost the student culture, was a whole day program consisting five sections - global volunteering, language culture party, forum, idea competitive exhibition, and student speech contest. The language culture party, encompassing both Korean and international students, held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students could experience diverse Asian cultures such as Japanese, Chinese, Uzbekistan, and so on at the party. Traditional games from many different countries and quizzes on each country were ready for students. One of the staff members, Park Ji-ae (Sophomore, Dept. of English Language and Literature), said, “I was surprised to know that many students were interested in departments at the College of Humanities. By participating in this program, I got to know lots of other countries’ culture.”
