CNU held a futsal competition for international students on October 14. 118 Korean and international students enjoyed games at the event hosted by the Office of International Affairs and KT&G Jeonnam Branch. The students teamed up by nationalities and competed with each other from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in KT&G Futsal Stadium. The first place went to an Uzbek team followed by a Korean team and a Chinese team. One of the participants, Nikolai Willer Svendsen (Freshman, Faculty of Business Administration, Denmark) said, “It was a great chance to meet people from different countries. Sports like futsal bring people together no matter what their religion or skin color is.” The futsal match was followed by a Korean culture and food festival where international students experienced traditional Korean games and food. It gave unforgettable memories to international students, giving a chance to enjoy their time, experiencing Korean traditional games and making new friends.
