[2017 광주·전남톡] 한 책 선정 투표 종료

  Voting for the Book of the Year for the 2017Gwangju and Jeonnam Read and Talk (GJRT) organized by the CNU Library, finished on April 30. A total of 30,528 citizens participated in the voting to choose the book of the year using online and offline platforms at places including CNU campuses and local libraries between April 3 and April 30. The following books are the candidates for the book of the year; Rhyu Si-min’s What Is a Nation, Jang Dae-ik’s Darwin’s Garden, Lee Hyeon-jae’s After Misogyny, Joe Yoon-jae’s Thousand-year Seasoned Competence, Han Kang’s The Elergy of Whiteness. The Book Selection Committee chose five books from various kinds of genres for the people in Gwangju and Jeonnam. This community reading project has provided the opportunity for Gwangju and Jeonnam citizens to read books and share their opinions with each other since 2013. Song Hyeon-ju (Senior, Dept. of English Education) said, “I hoped the book which I voted for would be selected and the GJRT would finish with success.” The CNU Library will announce the book of the year for the 2017 GJRT at the end of May.
