North Korea’s launching of nuclear tests has been a growing issue of concern across the world in recent years. International organizations such as the United Nations Security Council and the Nuclear Security Summit are taking action using considerably aggressive economic and political sanctions on North Korea. In my opinion, it is time to broaden our perspective beyond the nuclear bomb. There have been many efforts to rid the world of dangerous nuclear weapons. However, it seems an ineffective way at this point since North Korea is unwilling to cooperate with any agenda. I think it is worth talking with each other rather than pursuing sanctions and pressure. Also, world leaders have to come together to ensure international security through more peaceful ways rather than taking extreme policies.
