    The Central Election Management Committee (CEMC) at CNU confirms the candidates for the President and Vice President of the 49th General Student Council (GSC), as of November 5. Three teams registered for the GSC election after receiving five hundred of recommender signature collections. They are as follows in the Korean alphabet order: Kim Seol (Senior, Department of Political Diplomacy) and Jeong Tae-jun (Junior, Department of Chemistry), Na Hyun-jo (Sophomore, Department of Ethics Education) and Jeong Gang-hyeon (Junior, School of Chemical engineering), and Lee Myeong-no (Sophomore, Faculty of Earth Systems and Environmental Sciences) and Choi Dong-hyeok (Sophomore, Department of Ethics Education). The candidates started the election campaign from November 6 around campus. In order to win the GSC election, the candidates needs over 50 percent of the total turnout which has to be more than half of current CNU students. The CEMC chairman, Park Jae-woo said, “We hope many students take part in the GSC election. This is the way to make CNU the better and desirable university.” The GSC election will take place on November 21.
