▲ A ‘Alimi’ student, selected out of CNU students, introducing her major and college to high school students

Chonnam National University (CNU) operates a visiting guide program to choosing college majors. This program, called ‘Alimari’, aims to make middle and high school students know more about the colleges and majors of CNU. The Office of Admissions operates 15 times a month for middle and high schools in Jeonnam, Jeonbuk Province and Gwangju. Middle and high school students can listen to the information about college majors and real campus life by ‘Alimi’ students, who are selected out of CNU students from 11 colleges such as business administration, engineering, humanities, natural science. They visit middle and high schools and introduce their major and college. One of them, Ban Chae-won said, “I feel good when I help students who did not know about CNU and the available majors.” In November, this program will be operated in various cities and counties including Naju, Jangsung and Suncheon.
