CNU operated the 2015 English Camp for freshmen. The purpose of this program is to improve Freshmen’s English skills and to make a good relationship with other students before entering the University. 185 students participated in the first English Camp from January 5th to 23rd, 2015 and 224 people participated in the second English Camp from January 26th to February 13th, 2015. Ahn Jae-hun (Freshman, Dept. of Polymer and Fiber System Engineering) who took part in the second camp said, “The camp was really good. Through this program, I learned some English skills and I made friends.” Hyun Woo-moon (Senior, Dept. of Electronics Engineering) who participated in the camp as a Teaching Assistant said, “This camp gave me excellent experience because I felt I went back to being a Freshman. Not only that, but I was happy to spend some time with them.” At the closing ceremony held at the Convention Hall on February 13th, participants received certificates and foreign teachers and teaching assistants gave good speeches to the students.
