Samsung is well known for its union-free management. In that sense, it means a lot to see the first anniversary of the worker-led labor union of Samsung Group. The union fought not only to make their work condition better but also to change the society to think of human life more than monetary capital. Therefore, it means there are people who are not afraid of fight for the right thing against a big company like Samsung. During the one year of struggle between the Union and Samsung, three workers of Samsung Electronics Service Center died. It was the result of suppression of the Labor Union by the Government and Samsung who seemed to recognize of the Union. The Union is still fighting for the life of decent human beings. It has been a year since the Union has founded. No one can tell how long the fight would be. We need to pay more attention to them and the problems of laborers since it could be university students who could next suffer the high-handedness of big corporations.
