A complication of the writings Letters from Exile written by Jeong Yak-yong, one of the most phenomenal scholars in Joseon Dynasty, has been selected as this year's book of 'If All Gwangju Read and Talk the Same Book' project. The announcement ceremony was held on July 23^rd  in Yongbong Hall at Chonnam National University (CNU). A lot of citizens of all ages attended in the ceremony. Park Seok-moo (Director of Dasan Research Institute) who translated the letters 34 years ago, said, "I would like to thank CNU for doing this meaningful campaign and I hope the citizens enjoy Dasan's letters in this book.
