Textbooks have always been a dilemma to students. As the new semester starts, Chonnam National University (CNU) Club Alliance managed a small corner at the first floor of Student Union Building 1 for students to exchange books. In this corner, students can change their used textbooks with other student’s used ones. It is a win-win situation for all students to use this corner. Lee Jang-hyuk and Park Tae-seng, executives of the CNU Club Alliance, managed this corner. Lee said, “We planned this corner thinking in order for all CNU students to put down their old books and pick up other books which they needed.” But in the duration of the event, only twenty books were changed by students, contrary to their expectation. Furthermore, students worried other students take their needed books before they take them. So, students couldn’t put down their books easily. In order to activate this corner and lighten burden for major books, there are needed other good planning. If overcome this point, it is expected that students need not to buy many books. This will become a new, inexpensive and reasonable way to acquire textbooks for the semester.
