개교 60주년 기념 미술학과 교수 전시회

 

Art Professors’ Exhibit for CNU’s 60^th Anniversary

Professors from the College of Fine Arts collaborated for an art exhibition to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of Chonnam National University (CNU). Held at the Yongji Hall, artworks of the professors will be displayed from September 17 to 24 for a week. In the gallery, 4 emeritus professors, 3 tenured professors, 12 incumbent professors and 52 instructors participate and display 70 works with many kinds of artworks including sculptures and paintings. The exhibition’s purpose is to re-recognize the value of art education and to find innovate ways to improve it. Through this gallery we can enjoy high level of art in one place and have a good chance to see great works including Korean painting, Western painting, sculpture and crafts amongst others. It is said that participating members will donate 50% of the amount of sales for the Department of Fine Arts and the department’s proposed educational development fund.
