2018 English Essay Contest

The Chonnam Tribune, an official English magazine of Chonnam National University, invites university students to enter the 2018 English Essay Contest. The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students studying at universities and colleges in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeonnam Province. International students learning English as a second language can also participate in the annual event.

Submission Guidelines:
• Application Deadline: October 10 (Wednesday), 2018
• Topic Announcement: 2 p.m., October 13 (Saturday), 2018
• Entry Deadline: 6 p.m., October 13 (Saturday) / via email to tribune1968@cnumedia.com

• Essay Length: 900 – 1000 words

• Essay Awards:
- Grand Prize: 700,000 won
- First Prize: 500,000 won
- Second Prize: 300,000 won
- Third Prize: 200,000 won

* Students who want to participate in this competition have to submit an application by email to tribune1968@cnumedia.com by Oct. 10.
