2017 English Essay Contest

The Chonnam Tribune, an official English magazine of Chonnam National University, will hold 2017 English Essay Contest. It is open to all undergraduate and graduate students studying at universities and colleges in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeonnam Province. International students learning English as a second language can also participate in the contest.

Submission Guidelines:
• Application Deadline: October 11
• Contest Date & Time: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 14
• Essay Deadline: 6 p.m. on Oct. 14
Email Essay by 6 p.m. on Oct. 14 to tribune1968@cnumedia.com
• Essay Topic: will be posted on tribune.cnumedia.com at 2 p.m. on Oct. 14
• Essay Length: 1,000 – 1,100 words

• Essay Awards:
- Grand Prize: 700,000 won / - First Prize: 500,000 won
- Second Prize: 300,000 won / - Third Prize: 200,000 won

* Students who want to participate in the contest have to submit an application by email to tribune1968@cnumedia.com by Oct. 11.
