The Way You Use the LibraryⅠ

 Chonnam National University (CNU) has two university libraries on Yongbong campus. One is the university library Ⅰ and the other is the university library Ⅱ and both are located near Bongji Pond. University library Ⅰ is called ‘Hongdo’ which means “red library” and CNUians can search and borrow books here. There are books from the second floor to the fifth floor and CNUians can find literary books on the second floor. There are some computers on the second floor and CNUians can search books on the library internet site. If they search for a book, they can see a list of results. If they click one among them, they can see a number and a symbol which consists of numbers as well as Korean and English letters. They can find the book by looking for the same number or symbol on the shelf. After finding the book that they want, they can read it in the library. CNUians can borrow books through a lending machine or a service person on the second floor and can return books through a service person or a machine outside the second floor. When they borrow books, they need their student ID. Excepting reading or borrowing books, there are other things that CNU students can do in the university library Ⅰ. They can study on any floor alone, with their study groups in a special room located on the first floor. They also can use the computer room as well as the book café located on the first floor .
