Most of you have experienced a regretful situation like missing the time you had to do something or tried to find the proper moment to speak to someone. You may think a lot when facing some difficult problems. You are required to make decisions and you hesitate following through with these actions. However, the more you are worried about something and miss your chance, the more you will be pained about what you should have done.
At this point, Yoo Jae-seok, a famous comedian, will tell you “Timing is now, just do it. Don’t worry about others’ responses.” Are you familiar with this expression? Yes, this is what he said to Jang Hyeok who frequently missed the moment to tell jokes when he appeared on Family Out, a variety TV show.

Someone could just laugh at and overlook this situation. However, it has continuously remained in my head. Thinking about it more makes me think that it could be related to other events, like expressing our thoughts to others. From tiny things to large things we experience numerous moments to think about the correct ‘time’ to do something, but for various reasons, we are hesitant and likely to give up on things that you have completed easily. Well, there can be suitable reasons for giving up but think about whether those reasons are really proper. You pass the timing because you fear the results of your determination or you are not serious about the consequences? Hey, you have one chance. A train that has left cannot turn and come back to you. Timing is important whatever or whenever the results come in.
As the new school year begins, many students have maybe made plans to achieve their own goals. If you hang back before planning or practicing your projects, do not worry and remind yourself of Yoo Jae-seok’s words, “It will be okay. Timing is now.” Timing was not then. Catch the timing and catch the chance. Keep finding the timely moment and follow your beliefs. Good luck, CNUians!
