What Do You Think Are the Best Merits of Attending CNU?

Choi Seong-ho, junior, Department of English Language & Literature

I’d like to say I love the campus of CNU because of the trees and grassy lawns. First of all, the trees make my mind calm and relaxed and provide shade to keep out the sun. I like the green zones scattered around campus because I like to sit on the grass enjoying friendly talks with my friends. It can be said that abundant green resources are a source of pride for CNU, I think.

Jang Kuk-il, junior, Department of History

I like the clean lavatories and the pleasant lobbies for everyday use in Baek-do (The CNU Library 1). Recently, the Main Office remodeled the resting rooms and lavatories in Baek-do. They are renovated in clean places and the interior of them is newly designed to refresh us. In particular, the renovation of resting rooms is my favorite. It is because that I can have conversations about secret topics with friends in the partitioned cells inside the resting room.

Madina Muhamadieva, exchange student, freshman, Department of Korean Language & Literature

I’d talk about the kindness of the students at CNU. I have many difficulties, such as the language barrier, because Korea is a foreign country. But whenever I get in trouble and I’m in need, the students are a big help to me. For example, if I have difficulty in understanding a professor in class, I don’t hesitate to ask students near me and they kindly give an explanation to me.

Sun In-sik, senior, Department of Electrical Engineering

My friends said to me. “The campus of CNU is cleaner than any other place.” Every time I go to other places, I have no alternative but to agree with their opinion. I think that this is thanks to the hard working dustmen and cleaning ladies. I can find them working and cleaning the buildings and streets whenever I happen to see them on campus. I want to thank them for doing their best to make the campus a pleasant, clean space.

Heo Yu-sun, sophomore, Department of Business Administration

I went to a high school located on a hill for three years and I had to walk uphill to go to school.  It was a hard strain to reach the end of the road. I heard that many other universities have uphill roads of steep gradient, too. In this respect, I like that CNU stands generally on the flatland. Even when I have to run to a lecture room, it is comparatively easier. The flatland of CNU is to my liking.

Kim Eun-hee, senior, Department of Law

The foreign language learning facilities are excellent compared to other universities. For example, I can study foreign languages in the language labs. Aside from the facilities, I am satisfied with the number of native lecturers and the quality of them. I firmly believe that if you want to learn foreign languages at CNU, you will get good results.

Choi Jee-ah, junior, Department of Chinese Language & Literature

The faculty members of CNU have real capacity in comparison to other universities. I think that most students are hardly absent from classes and are faithful to their duties in class due to this. So, I’d like to recommend the quality of CNU professors.
