Chonnam National University (CNU) held a "Green Bell Challenge" event to mark the 70th anniversary of its opening on June 8. The university members participated in the preliminary and final rounds of the quiz game between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at CNU Sports Center. The event that with Kwangju Bank sponsored was held in the form of a survival quiz that challengers wrote down their answers to quiz questions on their white boards. The questions were about CNU’s history, figures and environment, and social issues. The final challenger of the quiz event was given a car Hyundai Casper. In addition to the car, prizes worth about 20 million won were set up for participants.  
    Jang Mi-rin (Freshman, Dept. of School of Polymer Science and Engineering), a staff member of the event, said, “The scale of the event seems to be bigger than I expected. It is a shame that there were people who applied for the program did not attend. But I am happy to see many participants enjoying themselves. And I am grateful for the opportunity to work with various people.” During the event, CNU Alumna Lee Ji-won said, “It is been a while since I came to campus, so I think of the past a lot. The quiz game was new because I knew what I did not know when I was in university while preparing to participate. I was excited to imagine getting a Casper car. I do not think I can get it, but I will do my best.”
