CNU students organized a fund-raising project called "Stand with Ukraine" on May 3 and 4. The Student Council of the Department of English and Literature and graduate students of the BrainKorea 21 Four Cultural Memory Curator Training Research Center held a pop-up store in front of the College of Humanities to support Ukrainian refugees. The store was arranged by donation from Professor Lee Joo-ri, Dean of the Department, and funds were raised by selling coasters, succulents, herbs, drinks and various snacks. Profits from the event will be used to produce school supplies kits, and later delivered to children and teenagers in refugee camps though local agencies in Ukraine. Lim Eun-ha, Graduate Student of BK21, said, “I am really happy to finish the project successfully, and I hope our efforts can be a small but solid force to send support and solidarity to Ukraine.” Lee La-eun (Senior, Dept. of Horticultural) said, “It is good to be able to express and convey my wishes to help Ukrainian refugees through this event.”
