CNU has been accredited for its international education competency for both degree and language training programs through the evaluation of the International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS) organized by the Ministry of Education in Korea. The IEQAS is an assessment system to certify that universities have excellent internationalization capabilities such as internationalization strategies and international student management. CNU will be able to select foreign students for graduate programs without any limitations, and they will benefit from the government's selection of universities for the Global Korea Scholarship program and overseas promotional support for outstanding foreign colleges through the Ministry of Education's official sites. Sung Seung-hyun, Dean of International Affairs, said, "CNU has now been listed as one of the universities for both degree courses and Korean language education courses on the 'Study in Korea' website run by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for International Education. CNU is able to promote itself to excellent foreign students and also there are now additional points when it comes to applying for global projects. For example, CNU will benefit from internationalization-related projects such as the government's selection of universities for the Global Korea Scholarship program.”
