At the start of this semester, CNU opened Student Union 2 after remodeling it for about one year to provide a comfortable environment for students. The former building needed a renovation because it had safety problems caused by the age of the building, but the problems have been solved by refurbishing the entire building. It has several facilities including a small auditorium, study lounges, club rooms, and a Muslim prayer room. Last month, 23 club rooms moved to the building and now they have been furnished with new desks, tables, and chairs. Park Soo-in (Senior, Faculty of Business Administration), a member of CNU Drama Club said, "Our club needs theater equipment to perform a play, and we have many large tools such as props, lumber, and rebar. In addition, a large practice space is required. The current club room in the renovated Student Union 2 building is spacious and comfortable, making it easy to engage in club activities.” Some places such as the cafeteria and study lounges have been restricted, but they will soon be available for students.
