▲ Presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the Student Council of the College of Humanities campaigning on Nov. 17

The elections for the 2022 Student Councils of each college at CNU will be held online on Nov. 23. The Central Election Management Committee (CEMC) will proceed with the elections in a non-contact way. There is no election for the General Student Council (GSC) this time. The colleges that will hold its presidential and vice-presidential election are as follows: Nursing, Engineering, Agriculture and Life Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, Human Ecology, Pharmacy, Medical School, Humanities, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. CEMC Chairperson Seo Young-woo (Senior, Dept. of English Language and Literature) said, “Each voter may vote “yes” or “no,” or abstain because there is a single candidate for each council. Your vote is precious. I hope that many students participate in the elections and make their voices heard for promoting student autonomy at CNU next year.” Choi Ji-yeon (Freshman, Dept. of Premedical Course) said, “It is regrettable that there is no candidate for the GSC. I will cheer for the candidates for the Student Council of the Medical School. I hope they work hard for the students.” All elections for the college student councils are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
