CNU held a virtual farewell ceremony for its 2021 International Summer Session (ISS) on July 21. Korean and international students from 14 different countries took lectures from renowned professors and participated in culture exchange activities via Zoom from June 24 to July 21. During the session, 20 CNU buddy students were assigned to help foreign students further understand and enjoy Korean culture, by doing things such as making a traditional Korean signature stamp and Korean food by using DIY kits. A package for a Korean cultural experience at home was delivered to them before the start of the session. David Richter (Master’s Student, Computer Information Technology, Purdue University, USA) said, “Having so many students from all over the world attending the ISS means that there are also many time zones to consider. But I again think that the CNUISS team handled it the best they could by having many events scheduled for us all.” He also added that the CNUISS was a great place to meet new friends from many different countries, and to get close with them in a short time.
