An Extraordinary Student Representative Meeting was convened online from February 15 to February 16. With 236 representatives attending, several matters were discussed in the meeting. The impeachment motion of the President of the 2021 General Student Council, Lim Gi-ahn (Junior, Dept. of Statistics), has been approved. Therefore, an impeachment vote will be proceeded in the Student General Meeting that will be convened soon. A by-election for the President and Vice President of the General Student Council is scheduled for March 31. Starting from the election, more than 1/3 of the voter eligible population needs to vote for the presidential candidates to be elected. Students will be able to cast a blank ballot. Furthermore, it is mandatory for the candidates open their religion and political party to the public before the election. As many colleges do not have a student council president, it has been decided that the Head of the Emergency Measure Committee of each college will be able to participate in the Student Representative Meeting and the Expanded General Student Council Operation Committee.
