CNU has been recognized for its excellence in research capabilities by Leiden University’s Global Evaluation Institute in the Netherlands. According to the “2020 Leiden Ranking”, CNU places 11th in Korea and 368th worldwide in terms of research papers published in the past four years. During this time, the university published an impressive 7,462 papers in various fields. In addition, it also ranked 11th in the “2020-2021 CWUR World University Ranking” by the Center for World University Ranking in Saudi Arabia. This ranking is evaluated based on education level, research performance, research influence, and more. In response to these achievements, CNU President Jeong Byung-seok stated that “We will continue to provide all possible support to researchers so that we can continue to lead global collective research as a research-focused university.”
