Chonnam National University (CNU) has been building an infrastructure for an effective online learning system that can be available at any time. The Institute of Liberal Education at the university has moved a variety of face-to-face learning community programs to online learning formats and supported students to hold an online meeting through a video lecture program. They have also newly established a ‘Knowledge Sharing’ program. Through this online question-and-answer bulletin, students who have difficulties in solving problems in some majors such as mathematics, physics and chemistry can get those questions answered from junior and senior students who receive feedback from graduate students and lecturers. CNU previously added four web servers and two video servers and introduced Contents Delivery Network services in order to offer stable online courses. The university also decided to expand its storage space and build a cloud system based on a hyper-converged infrastructure that is an all-in-one server and storage system. Director of the institute Cha Sung-hyun said, "We have a plan to continue to operate online learning content that has many advantages. Every student can access the e-learning content from anywhere and anytime, and the content is even available to students who are not taking courses.
