Kim Yang-hyun, a professor of the Dept. of Philosophy, said, “The poet Kim Nam-ju is a very important person because he helped Korea achieve democracy in the 1980s. I hope this hall becomes a meaningful place that admires and preserves Kim’s poetry, spirit, life and cultural heritage.” He had written several poems and essays. His poetry collections include A Requiem, My Sword My Blood, My Country Is One, Let’s Be Honest, The Adobe of Thoughts, and In This lovely world. His essay collections include Going over the Mountain and Crossing the River, Poetry and Revolution, and A Seed of Fire Will Burn Down the Fields. Park San-hong (Junior, Faculty of Business Administration) said, “I am willing to visit there often to feel and carry on his spirit.
