On March 2, a total of nearly 170 new undergraduate and graduate international students attended the orientation program held on Gwangju and Yeosu campuses respectively. The orientation was held by the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at the G&R HUB Conference Hall on Gwangju campus. The orientation started by introducing CNU and explaining the most important aspects of school life. The CNU International Supporters (CIS) organized various interesting games and quizzes for icebreaking. After the campus tour by CNU Student Ambassadors, CNU bands and groups performed for the newly accepted foreign students. They also had a Q&A session where they found out the answers to their questions about their campus life. Em Milana (Freshman, Dept. of Communication) from Uzbekistan said, “It was amazing to get to look around CNU along with special tour guides and it gave me a very good impression and made me look forward to my life at CNU.” One of the CIS members Lee Su-bin (Senior, Dept. of Korean language and Literature) said that CIS members showed their best efforts to make international students happy and that she wishes them good luck in their new semester.
