The election for the 2019 General Student Council (GSC) will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. The Chonnam Tribune asked students for their hopes for the next GSC. – Ed.

Mujtaba Karyab (Junior, Faculty of Economics)
I recently found out that I can vote in the GSC presidential election as a regular international student at CNU. I think the student union is helpful for students to share their collective problems and find the best possible alternatives for their academic life on campus. They will play a key role in delivering students’ voices to CNU headquarters. Therefore, as a member of the CNU family, I highly appreciate the value and advantage that the next GSC will bring. I want them to consistently publicize to international students about their right to vote. If many international students know about their right to vote, I am sure that they will participate in voting willingly.
