▲ ISS participants celebrating their academic achievement at the closing ceremony

CNU completed the 2017 International Summer Session (ISS) that offered cultural field trips and high-quality English courses provided by renowned scholars from all over the world during four weeks from June 25 July 21. CNU students and 129 international students from 48 universities in 22 different countries celebrated their academic achievements at the closing ceremony and farewell party of the ISS on July 21. The ISS program gave an opportunity for foreign students to learn about Korean culture and history through various cultural excursions. “I’m enjoying every breath of mine on this CNU summer session program,” said Helena Nagyová (Senior, University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic). It is expected that CNU ISS will help to build global networks between students and professors from different countries. Stephanie P. da Silva, a professor form the Columbus State University, said this program would help students to be better thinkers in the future.
