    Greeting May, full of various festivals in Korea, a total of 79 international students of Foreign Students’ Experience Group at CNU visited Namwon to see the 87th Chunhyang Festival on May 5. The Chunhyang Festival motivated by a Korea’s traditional story Chunhyangjeon is one of the 100 symbols representing Korea’s folk culture. It is famous for its various events and especially for the ‘Chunhyang Beauty Contest’ and the ‘Korea Chunhyang Gugak Competition’. Under the purpose of experiencing traditional Korean culture, the students took part in many kinds of events such as Gugak (traditional Korean music and performance), a traditional market and a street parade, ‘Chunhyang Gilnori’. One of the participants, Mokhinur Imarova (Freshman, Faculty of Economics, Uzbekistan) said, “This trip was unforgettable because of experiencing traditional Korean culture and was so amazing that we all enjoyed ourselves, made friends, and observed new places.”
