As part of the CNU Music Festival to congratulate the opening of Minjumaru, a free lawn concert took place on the outdoor stage in front of Minjumaru on August 4, 2016. The concert was well-suited to a summer evening and many residents enjoyed it. The 2nd concert will be held on September 23. Minjumaru opened last May 27 and is expected to function as the landmark of CNU and a representative cultural space for Gwangju residents.
