During the Lunar New Year’s holiday, North Korea’s missile launch was a hot potato. North Korea has been concentrated on building up asymmetric military power in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia, with developing nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. Its launching a satellite is against the United Nations’ resolution which prohibits every missile launch. In this regard, the South Korea government restarted to broadcast propaganda to North Korea and also closed the Gaeseong Industrial Complex. We should not view this situation lightly. It completely hinders the peace and reunification of South and North Korea. In a state of truce, our government must prepare new measures to make North Korea participate in the peaceful forum of conversation. Also, we have to seek a compromise that both can accept to progress the relationship between the two countries.
