The Club ‘AUTO’ which belongs to the School of Mechanical Systems Engineering at CNU won the first prize for the Electricity Vehicle field in a Self-made Car Racing Competition for University Students. Also, another Club ‘AERO’ took third place in the same field. It is the largest competition hosted by the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers where University Students can actually plan, design and build vehicles. This year, 184 clubs from 101 Universities participated in the competition. The Club ‘Auto’ had been working very hard for this competition designing and making its own vehicle throughout the last semester. The President of the Club, Yang Sehy-eon (Junior, School of Mechanical Systems Engineering) said, “Sometimes, our Club Members faced difficulties like receiving low funds from the University which was not enough to complete our project. However, we did our best with passion and finally we could receive such a precious prize.”
