CNU held an entrance ceremony at the Auditorium at 2 p.m. on February 27th, 2015 and admitted 4,883 undergraduate students and 1,597 graduate students to the University. Since 2008, the ceremony was held in each college but the university authorities changed it last year and have the integrated ceremony to give freshmen a sense of belonging and pride in being CNU students. Before the ceremony, several campus clubs at CNU gave performances to celebrate the entrance of Freshmen. President Jee Byung-moon gave an address saying university life is a golden time that can change each student’s future so they have to spend their time efficiently and learn as much as they can. He also emphasized the importance of reading to become intellectuals who have historical consciousness and a critical spirit.
