     The 63rd First Graduation Ceremony was held at the Auditorium at 10 a.m. in Gwangju and at 3 p.m. in Yeosu on February 26th, 2015. This year a total of 4,082 students received degrees: 147 for Ph.D., 820 for Master’s Degree, 3,099 for Bachelor’s Degrees. Bae Nam-gu, aged 77, who was granted a Ph. D. was the oldest among the graduates. President Ji Byeong-moon urged graduate students to adopt well with the changes and to be concerned in the universal values of humanity in his congratulatory address. He also emphasized that the virtue of a member of society includes honesty, courage and modesty. Choi Ji-hyun (alumnus, Dept. of English Language and Literature) said, “I am excited to graduate, but I am somewhat worried about my life after this moment.” Many students celebrated in their own ways by taking pictures with humorous poses and performing on musical instruments for their friends and seniors. Placards congratulating Alumni were easily seen around the campus as well.
