CNU dispatched a team of student volunteers to the Kingdom of Lesotho in Africa. The volunteers made up of 15 students and one staff member stayed in a place called Ha-Teko from June 30 to July 30. This year, the volunteers provided labor services and educational services to local people and promoted amicable relations between the Kingdom of Lesotho and Korea. One of the volunteers, Na Hye-won (Junior, Dept. of Nursing) said "I joined the program because it is not what you can experience every day. I remember the starlight night of the first day in the village. I am still haunted by memories of African kids and campers." CNU has operated the international volunteering program since 2011 to help local residents to have better living circumstances and to plan the development of local communities in underdeveloped countries in Africa.
