Manic-depressive Disorder Lecture at CNU

Students are listening to the lecture about manic-depressive disorder

 

On May 3th, 2013, a lecture was held at Chonnam National University (CNU)’s College of Human Ecology 200 room for students interested in manic-depressive disorder. This lecture is hosted by Gwangju Buk-gu Mental Health Center and Department of Family Environment and Welfare. Most commonly known as the bipolar condition, the manic-depressive disorder is mixed with mania and melancholia. People who have this disease feel mood swings that are too extreme and excessive. This lecture announced about manic-depressive disorder's definition, factor, symptoms and medical treatment. About 50 students attended this lecture and before the lecture they were examined about manic-depressive disorder. So they can judge whether they are manic-depressive disorder. Jo Da-nim (Sophomore, Department of Family Environment and Welfare) said "I want to know whether I have the manic-depressive disorder. And I know that manic-depressive disorder is not shamefulness so we have to treat and conquer."
