학생생활상담센터, 온라인 상담서비스 시작

     Chonnam National University (CNU), through its Counseling Center, opened an online counseling homepage (http://counsel.jnu.ac.kr/) for CNU students on April 29th. While the center has its own offline counseling center located in the first students’ hall, it opened a counseling homepage to reach more students and know about their concerns. It is expected to encourage students’ apply who are afraid of sharing their worries by facing through comfortable accessibility. It is opened to every students belong to CNU including students on a leave of absence. It provides information of offline counseling about career, sexual violence or harassment, psychological counseling among others. It also provides an online education lectures about prevention of sexual crime. And there is a board to report crime. Also students are allowed to schedule offline counseling at counseling center by appointing online. Students who have trouble with their career can take a simple test to find their aptitude. By running online counseling homepage, CNU is looking forward to lessen various stresses of students and find the best way in their condition.
