The CNU Press and Broadcasting (CNUPB) recruited new cub-reporters from March 4th to March 13th. After an individual interview on March 14th, a total 48 students were selected as cub-reporter—12 students for Chonnam National University Weekly, 16 students for CUB, 6 students for the Chonnam Tribune and 14 students for the CNUPB-Yeosu Campus. Not only provided with scholarships and coverage expenses, reporters can take classes from the Language Education Center with financial support, have the chance to be sent abroad for overseas coverage and receive training from local newspaper firms. The Chonnam Tribune has great expectations about the performance of the new cub-reporters this semester. “I am very looking forward to being a Tribune Reporter and am going to do my best to be as enthusiastic as I can be.” said Hwang Jae-hyung (Freshman, Dept. of Biological Science and Technology), a new cub-reporter of the Chonnam Tribune.
