‘My Professor Life: Consecutive Introspection for Sincere Teaching’

       For the first time in 2013, the 5^th GyoSuDa: Professor’s Small Talk Program was held last March 13^th in the Truth Hall’s E-room. In the program, Song In-sung (Prof., Dept. of Economics) was invited as the guest speaker and Park In-hyae presided over the program (Prof., College of Nursing). Prof Song, who only has a year for retirement, had recently uploaded his 7 reminiscences at Yongbong-armi (faculty homepage), sharing his life and worries as a professor and his know-how of teaching. ‘My Professor Life: Consecutive Introspection for Sincere Teaching’ was the theme and Prof. Song started his speech as he said, “In over 30 years, Chonnam National University was in all phases of my life.” Further talk was focused on his teaching method, and he said, “The prerequisite is to understand students’ needs and wants.” GyoSuDa is a program for faculties to share best education examples and to give opportunity for communication hold by Center for Teaching and Learning.
