The Chonnam Tribune visited the Chonnam National University Business Incubator which has been set up since 1997. The center helps young people who are starting a business by providing them with realistic services and information they need to set up and maintain their companies, and furthermore has improved economic growth in our region. In the center, young entrepreneurs who desire to start their own business have been incubated for about 4 years. For registration, students who are interested in starting a business need to have a presentation about their own business idea. 34 companies have enrolled until now, and one of them is ‘CS CAM’ which is a business company on nesting software and computer programming. A former professor and a few students of the engineering college of CNU have taken part in this business. Lee Cheol, the manager of the CNU Business Incubator, said the undergraduates will have to break away from employment and think about their own business. The business is not just to sell something, but to develop a great amount of things including ourselves.
