Clubs for Employment

By Jo Hye-min, Cub-Reporter

‘Navigate Economic Ocean and Finance Economics Club’ in the College of Business Administration prepares for employment in various economic and management fields and has two subsections called Neo-PEC and Neo-Media. Neo-PEC is a group of people who are interested in finance, study and discuss about financial subjects.

Neo-Media does the same thing but their subject is management. Chief Kim Sung-won (Junior) said, “The most important thing to get a job is building their own capacity by studying hard in their field and assessing their level themselves. The ‘Employ Club’ in the School of Mechanical Systems Engineering is organized to share information about employment and prepare for it together. Its members write a letter of self-introduction together and edit each other’s work. Also they do a pre-interview to prepare for the actual job interview and communicate with seniors who were successful in gaining employment. A member of the club, Park Hyun-wook (Senior, School of Mechanical Systems Engineering) said, “It is important when you make a club for employment to have a solid plan and a strong will to practice.”
